Aphorism No. 465

Just because someone has never been born, has never breathed, has never taken a first step or spoken a first word, has never experienced the glory and agony of a formal education, has never grown up into a maladjusted adult with an uninspiring job, has never paid taxes and memorized a social security number, has never worried about the future and the meaning of it all, and will never need to face the quietus of death, that doesn’t mean that person has never lived.
