Nassim Nicholas Taleb

I’m not all that into philosophy. Not that I think it’s bad, but whenever I’ve read it much of it has struck me as theoretical, abstruse, and inapplicable to real life.

Now that I’m reading what I just wrote, I guess I think a lot of philosophy is bad.

But I still like Nassim Nicholas Taleb, who is less of a philosopher and more of an applied logician. A professional trader and perpetual flâneur, Taleb is something of an acquired taste on social media, but his books are among the most informative and engaging I’ve ever read.
